16-hour basic course which includes all topics required by the NM Concealed Handgun Carry Act. This course is necessary for someone to apply for and legally carry a concealed handgun in NM. Participants must supply their own weapon, ammo, and eye/ear protection.

6-hour basic course that will cover topics such as: firearm safety, nomenclature & fundamentals, shooting positions, reloading/malfunction drills, weapon maintenance and gear configuration options. Students must supply their own weapons, ammo & safety equipment.

NM Department of Public Safety/Law Enforcement Academy authorized biennium firearms training, and day/night firearms qualification courses. Available for current/retired certified NM law enforcement officers only.
8-hour advanced course that will include topics such as: weapon transitioning, shooting on the move, room clearing techniques, considerations for residential, vehicular, urban and rural environments, and stress-induced courses of fire.
2- and 4-hour courses in accordance with the NM Concealed Handgun Carry Act. A refresher/qual course is required every two years for maintaining concealed carry knowledge & marksmanship proficiency. A certificate of renewal training is required every four years to retain your concealed carry license.
